July Prime Games. Summer's heating up, and so is Luna's… | by teamluna | Amazon Luna

Amazon Prime subscribers are getting 12 free downloadable PC games throughout July 2026 via Amazon Luna, with new titles dropping each week through the end of the month. The full slate mixes turn-based RPGs, escape room puzzlers, and narrative-driven experiences, making this one of the more varied monthly lineups Luna has put together.

The headline streaming addition is Dispatch, the debut game from AdHoc Studio. It follows a down-on-his-luck superhero who ends up taking a desk job managing superhuman resources, and the whole thing plays out like a modern Telltale-style branching narrative where your choices carry real weight. It's one of the more talked-about releases of 2025, and getting it through a streaming subscription is a solid get for Prime members who haven't played it yet.

Rounding out the Luna Standard streaming library this month: Sonic Mania Plus, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, YouTuber's Life, and Arcade Paradise.

The full July download schedule

Here's the thing: the 12 downloadable games aren't all available at once. Amazon is staggering releases across four weekly drops, so you'll want to keep an eye on the calendar if something specific catches your attention.

July 2 (available now)

  • CyClones (GOG)
  • LoneStar (Epic Games Store)
  • Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga (Epic Games Store)

July 9

  • Still There (GOG)
  • Regular Factory: Escape Room (GOG)

July 16

  • Poly Vita (Legacy Games code)
  • Framed Collection (GOG)
  • Escape Academy (Epic Games Store)

July 23

  • In Sound Mind (Amazon Games App)
  • Mystic Academy: Escape Room (GOG)

July 30

  • Zoria: Age of Shattering (GOG)
  • Weakless (GOG)

What's actually worth your time here

Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga is the standout pick from the July 2 drop. It's a tactical RPG that punches well above its budget-title origins, with a surprisingly deep unit management system and a campaign that runs well over 40 hours. If you've been sleeping on it, this is the easiest possible entry point.

Escape Academy on July 16 is another strong grab. It's a polished escape room game built for co-op, and it holds up well as a solo experience too. The July lineup leans heavily into the escape room genre between Regular Factory, Escape Academy, and Mystic Academy, so clearly that's a theme Amazon is running with this month.

Dispatch on the streaming side is the real draw for players who want something narrative-driven. Think less "action superhero" and more "office drama with superpowers." If you've been looking for something in the vein of classic adventure games, it fits that space well.

How the Luna free games model compares to other services

Amazon Luna's approach is a bit different from PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass. The downloadable games are permanent claims, not rotating library titles that disappear when you unsubscribe. That's a meaningful distinction, and it puts Luna's free game model closer to what Epic Games Store does with its weekly giveaways.

The subscription starts at $15 per month, and between the streaming library and the permanent downloads, July's lineup alone covers that cost several times over in raw game value.

For players who enjoy collecting free-to-claim titles across platforms, it's also worth stacking Luna claims alongside things like PUBG Mobile redeem codes and other freebie programs that run concurrently. Free content is everywhere right now, and Luna is a legitimate part of that ecosystem.

Sports game fans checking out FC 26 this month can also take advantage of the FC 26 Prime Heroes player guide to see which cards are worth chasing in Ultimate Team.

All 12 games are claimable through the end of July. For more free content, tips, and game-specific breakdowns, the gaming guides hub has you covered across every platform.
