League of Legends 25.24 Mythic Shop Rotation: All Skins, Chromas and Icons (December 2025) | AltChar

Skins are one of the biggest reasons players keep coming back to League of Legends, and the difference between paying full price and snagging a 60% discount through Your Shop can be hundreds of RP over a season. Here's the lowdown on how the current sale system actually works, when Your Shop is expected to return, and what skin tiers mean for your wallet.

How the weekly sale rotation works

Riot runs a rotating selection of skins on sale through the client's shop, typically cycling every week. The standard discount sits at 50% off for most legacy and older skins, though the exact lineup changes each rotation. Skins that are part of active events, brand-new releases, or limited-time bundles are generally excluded from the weekly rotation entirely.

What most players miss is that not every skin tier gets the same treatment. Legacy skins and older Epic-tier skins (typically 1350 RP at full price) show up most frequently in weekly sales. Legendary skins at 1820 RP and Ultimate skins at 3250 RP almost never appear in the standard rotation, and when they do, discounts are smaller.

The key here is timing. Skins that have been in the catalog for at least a year are far more likely to rotate through. If you have a specific skin in mind, checking the rotation at the start of each week beats impulse-buying at full price.

Skin tiers and what they actually cost on sale

Understanding the tier system helps you know when a sale is genuinely worth it versus when you should hold out for Your Shop.

Epic skins at 1350 RP are the sweet spot for most players. At 675 RP on sale, you're getting a skin with custom animations and sound effects for roughly the same price as a base-tier skin at full price. Legendary skins at half price are rarer but do appear, particularly for older champions.

tip
If you're sitting on a pile of RP and eyeing a Legendary skin, wait for Your Shop before spending. Your Shop discounts can reach 70% on skins tied to champions you actually play.

Your Shop: When it returns and how it works

Your Shop is Riot's personalized discount storefront, offering 6 curated skin deals based on your champion play history. Discounts range from 20% up to 70%, and the selection is unique to each account. Two players can open Your Shop on the same day and see completely different skins.

Your Shop runs on a limited-time schedule, typically appearing 3 to 4 times per year. Each window stays open for roughly two to three weeks before closing. Riot has not announced a fixed calendar for Your Shop openings, so the returns tend to be announced a few days in advance through the client and official social channels.

The current season's Your Shop windows have historically aligned with major patch cycles and mid-split breaks. With Patch 26.5 already reshaping the meta, the next Your Shop window is likely to land during a quieter patch period when Riot wants to drive shop engagement without competing against a major content drop.

What this means for players right now

If you've been playing the same three or four champions consistently, your Your Shop offers will reflect that. Champions you've played in ranked, normals, and ARAM all factor into the algorithm. The more games you log on a specific champion before Your Shop opens, the higher the chance that champion's skins appear in your six slots.

For players newer to the game or building out their roster, the League of Legends Season 2026 guide covering Patch 26.1 changes is worth checking before you commit RP to a champion you might not stick with after the meta shifts.

The practical move right now: keep playing your mains, hold off on full-price skin purchases for champions you play regularly, and check the client at the start of each week for the rotation update. Your Shop will come back, and when it does, the discount on a skin you actually want beats any weekly sale by a significant margin.
