Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Product Showcase

Twenty-seven products. That is the number The Pokemon Company has committed to for the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration set, and it is a lot to process in one sitting.

The full lineup has now been revealed, and it spans everything from entry-level two-pack blisters to high-end Ultra-Premium Collections. For fans of Pokémon Pokopia who have already been riding the franchise high this year, this is another big moment for the brand. Here's the lowdown on what's coming and when.

The first wave hits shelves on September 16

Not everything drops at once. The first batch arrives on September 16, and it includes the products most players will want to grab first:

  • Elite Trainer Box with 9 booster packs, a Nidorina illustration rare promo card, and accessories
  • Pokemon ex Box (Sylveon ex) with 4 boosters, a promo card, and an oversized card
  • Pokemon ex Box (Greninja ex) with the same contents as above
  • ex Tin (Sylveon ex) with 4 boosters and a promo card
  • ex Tin (Greninja ex) matching the Sylveon tin's contents
  • Poster Collection featuring Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres promo cards, 3 boosters, and a two-sided full-size poster
  • Tech Sticker Collection (Lucario) with 3 boosters
  • Tech Sticker Collection (Alolan Exeggutor) with 3 boosters

That is 8 products before the rest of the year even gets started.

What the later 2026 wave brings

The remaining 19 products follow later in 2026, and this is where the lineup gets genuinely ambitious. The two Ultra-Premium Collections are the headline items: one themed around Day with Espeon, one around Night with Umbreon. Based on previous Ultra-Premium releases, each should include up to 18 booster packs, card sleeves, a play mat, a metallic coin, and a special promo card. Exact contents haven't been confirmed yet.

Beyond those, the later wave covers a wide spread of price points:

  • Figure Collection (Mew) with a display figure, promo card, and boosters
  • Figure Collection (Mewtwo) with the same format
  • Ditto Premium Collection with a promo card and 8 booster packs
  • Battle Deck (Espeon ex) with 60 cards including Victini
  • Battle Deck (Umbreon ex) with 60 cards including Zeraora
  • Booster Bundle containing 6 booster packs
  • Two-Pack Blister with an Eevee promo card and a 30th Celebration coin
  • 10 Mini Tins, each traditionally containing 2 boosters, a sticker sheet, and an art card

The key here is the sheer range. A two-pack blister sits at one end of the spectrum for casual buyers, while the Ultra-Premium Collections are clearly aimed at dedicated collectors willing to spend significantly more.

important
The 10 Mini Tins alone account for a substantial chunk of the 27-product count. Collectors chasing every variant will need to track down all 10 individually.

Ditto's moment and the broader franchise momentum

One detail worth flagging: the Ditto Premium Collection is a small but telling sign of where Pokemon's cultural momentum sits right now. Ditto has had a genuinely strong year off the back of Pokémon Pokopia, and seeing the shape-shifter land its own premium box set feels like a direct acknowledgment of that renewed interest.

The franchise is clearly leaning into nostalgia hard with this set. Mew and Mewtwo getting figure collections, the legendary bird trio on the Poster Collection, and the Espeon/Umbreon day-night theme for the Ultra-Premiums all pull from Generation 1 and 2 in a way that targets collectors who grew up with the original games.

What this means for your wallet

Twenty-seven products is not a casual commitment. Even picking up just the September 16 wave requires tracking down 8 separate items, some of which will likely sell out fast at retail. The Mini Tins historically move quickly, and the Ultra-Premium Collections tend to command significant resale premiums when stock runs thin.

Pro tip: if you want the full set at reasonable prices, pre-ordering through dedicated card game retailers will serve you better than waiting for general retail restocks closer to launch.

With the September 16 first wave now confirmed, collectors have a clear target date to prepare for. The rest of the lineup's specific release windows within late 2026 are still to be announced, so keep an eye on official Pokemon TCG channels for those details.
