In a major development for Axie Infinity enthusiasts, Origins Season 7 has officially commenced, ushering in the eagerly anticipated Rare Era. Lasting for a duration of two weeks, this era is part of a comprehensive 7-week season, culminating in the Elite 8 Tournament to crown the ultimate Season 7 champion. The Elite 8 details will be shared in the coming weeks.
A slew of updates accompanies Origins Season 7, including enhancements to the Leaderboard reward system, increased AXP emissions, the introduction of a Collectible Leaderboard, and an expanded Origins shop boasting new items to aid in your season-long grind.
Hybrid Leaderboard Rewards:
The introduction of a Hybrid Leaderboard reward system is a standout feature this season. Both AXS and SLP tokens will now be awarded to the top 20,000 leaderboard finishers, amounting to approximately $641,000 USD in total rewards for this era alone. This move aims to provide more players with an opportunity to compete and earn rewards within the Axie Infinity ecosystem.
More AXP in Origins:
Axie Infinity players will experience an increased daily AXP cap per Axie in Origins. The new formula, based on the axie's level, will boost the AXP cap, offering players a faster route to leveling up their prized Axies. Additionally, AXP emissions in Arena have been heightened, providing more rewards as players climb the ranks.
Introducing AXP Booster:
A notable addition to the Origins Shop is the AXP Booster. Available in three variants - 8 hours, 7 days, and 30 days - these boosters provide a 40% AXP gain boost, significantly accelerating AXP accumulation.
E.g. In Challenger, you now gain 700 AXP (500 AXP w/o AXP Booster) per Stamina win.
In addition, Collectible axies gain even more AXP, clocking in an extra AXP flat bonus when AXP Boosters are activated. Each win gives an additional +50 per win, +30 for Draw, and +10 for Losses. This bonus applies to all collectible axies, from Summer to Mystic.
Runes and Charm Boxes Coming Soon:
Origins Shop is set to introduce Runes and Charm boxes to enhance Axie power. These mystery boxes, purchasable with Gems, will become available mid-season, offering players a chance to secure powerful enhancements for their Axies.
Collectible Leaderboards:
In a unique twist, Origins Season 7 introduces a Collectible Leaderboard system, rewarding dedicated collectors. Separate leaderboards for Collectible axie holders feature a prize pool of 4,000 AXS for the season. Points accrue based on ranked wins and collectible bonuses, creating an engaging competition for collectors.
Summer Axies Eligible for Rewards:
In a first for Origins, Summer axies are now eligible for rewards. Collectors of Summer axies can earn additional AXS rewards, fostering inclusivity for new collectors. Rewards will be distributed as 'Collector Tickets,' converted to AXS at the season's end.
Crafting Updates:
Season 7 brings changes to Crafting, including the replacement of High SLP Recipes with Gem Recipes. Improved chances, reduced costs, and guaranteed rewards mark these updates, enhancing the crafting experience for players. Here are the details:
- High SLP Recipes (Ronin B) have been replaced with Gem Recipes.
- There are 3 new Gem Recipes in each Era:These recipes craft Ronin (NFT) Runes & CharmsMoonshard Cost for Gem Recipes is cheaper than SLP Recipes. (Similar to old Ronin B Recipes)Gem Recipes have improved chances for a group of selected Classes. (normal: 10% -> gem recipes: 15%)
